Why are so many bloggers Law students?

I only follow 2 or 3 blogs regularly so my sample size is suspect, but why does it seem like most blogs are done by lawyers or law students? Is there something about Law that attracts the kind of people who want to write about everything? Just for some perspective I found some other pharmacists and checked out their blogs. Hmmmm....these are pretty boring dudes.

Good job Law people!

Am I not entertained!?

Yeah, I am.

Yes, lawyers and law students as a group tend to think they have a lot to say. Journalists and journalism students tend to be just as bad, but of course, they tend to have newspapers and other quasi-public sources as an outlet.

I look forward to reading your inane babble =)

It's because in the absence of being able to hear our own voices 24 hours a day, we do the next best thing...write it all down and then read it while we're drunk and crack ourselves up. I mean other people do that...not me. No way.

re-reading yourself later when drunk...brilliant!

See, I feel like you still think I might be joking. Uh. No. I've been blogging for 7 months, and drinking for a lot longer than that (Sorry Mr. Liver) and it never fails that when I come home drunk the first thing I do is write a totally incoherent post, and then reread the archives and laugh my butt off. If there's one thing you can count on, it's that I'm a class act...ALWAYS!

So do you suggest not publishing anything until the morning after when you drink-and-blog?

I would posit the theory that already in what, three posts?, you have more intelligent things to say than 99% of the bloggers out there...so hey, drunk post at will. I find that people often think I'm funnier when I'm drunk...and it seems to carry over onto the internet as well. I would never want to encourage people to think before they act...that's the antithesis of my life strategy!
